MATERIALS AND FINISHES

BELÁ TESORO’S beautiful treasures are made with carefully selected materials and finishes. Each piece requires care and delicate handling from its owner.

Most of our products have been set by hand using mixed metals, beads, semi precious stones, chain and other embellishments. Therefore, some pieces may vary slightly. Intentional inconsistencies in colour, size and pattern may be evident.

Our mixed metal pieces have been lovingly crafted using a variety of different metals, like steel or brass. Unless specified sterling silver or 18ct/9ct gold, the components we use are silver and gold plated.

JEWELLERY CARE

To avoid damaging your jewellery, always avoid water, liquids and moisture.

Take care when using personal care items such as skin products and perfume. Some metals can react to certain ingredients, which may result in tarnishing.

Some people have a chemical makeup which causes their skin to react with certain base metals. Therefore, some pieces may begin to gently tarnish after wear due to oxidation from contact with the skin. This is not the cause of the jewellery, but the reaction of moisture and acid in the wearer’s sweat.

Bring a piece back to its original state by gently polishing with a jewellery cloth. Be careful not to over polish silver and gold plated pieces.

Please note a selection of our pieces are especially designed to have a vintage, antique aesthetic.

We recommend that you store your pieces individually in their velvet packaging when they’re not being worn. Sunlight can damage the lustre of your jewellery.

DAMAGES AND FAULTS

Please take care when wearing, as our pieces are delicate and mostly handmade. If they are dropped, stones may fall out, resin may smash and embellishments may break.

We cannot take responsibility for any breakages that occur through rough handling. Therefore, we will not accept exchanges or refunds of items that have been clearly mishandled.

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or imperfect in any way, please notify us within seven days and we will gladly issue you an exchange or refund. After seven days we are not liable for any quality issues.

PLACING AN ORDER AND PAYMENT

By completing a Purchase Order, You are making an offer to purchase the Product at the price set out in the Website.

Payment must be made at the time of submitting the Purchase Order. Payment can be made by credit card or PayPal only. BELÁ TESORO accepts Visa, MasterCard, Amex and PayPal. You warrant that You are an authorised user of the credit card or PayPal account used to complete payment.

All Purchase Orders placed through this Website are subject to confirmation and acceptance by BELÁ TESORO. We will email you with confirmation of the receipt of Your Purchase Order. BELÁ TESORO may reject Your Purchase Order, and refund any payment made by You, at any time prior to dispatch.

The Purchase Order must be paid in full immediately upon entry into the Agreement. All transactions are settled in Australian Dollars (AUD). If you are ordering from outside Australia, and your bank account or credit card is held in a different currency, you can still order by credit card – your currency will automatically be converted to Australian Dollars when you complete the transaction.

The conversion rate varies from day to day with the current exchange rate. Many banks also charge a small currency conversion fee, contact your bank or credit provider for details. In some areas of the site, prices will be shown with an estimate of the price in your home currency. These converted prices are for information purposes only, to help you get an idea of the approximate cost of a product, and they may not be the exact amounts that will appear on your credit card statement.

The final charge to your card is made in Australian Dollars and the ultimate conversion rate is determined by your bank or credit card provider. For this reason we are not able to take responsibility for the final amount charged to your credit card or PayPal account.

BELÁ TESORO may vary prices in the event of price changes or mistakes on this Website without prior notice to You. If BELÁ TESORO requests payment for increased prices, You may cancel the order. Notification of your wish to cancel the order in these circumstances must be received within seven days of the announcement of the increase.

This Website is protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a security device which ensures that any data which you enter into a secure area of the site is encrypted during transmission over the Internet. SSL utilizes data encryption to create a secure environment for you to conduct your online transactions. In order for SSL to be effective, you must be using an SSL compliant browser.

BELÁ TESORO does not store or keep credit card numbers from online transactions. The last four numbers and the expiry date of your credit card number are kept for order verification and identification purposes only. While every endeavour is made to ensure every shopping experience with us is a good one, in the event a credit card is used without the holder’s authorisation, the card holder must notify their credit card provider in accordance with their reporting rules and procedures.

BELÁ TESORO reserves the right to limit the quantities of product sold as it sees fit. It is a condition of this Agreement that you do not resell the Products to a third party. BELÁ TESORO does not permit the purchase of items for resale. Customers wishing to be a stockist of BELÁ TESORO products must contact BELÁ TESORO Pty Ltd directly, where they will be informed of the options available to buy higher quantities.

This Website is owned and operated by BELÁ TESORO. This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements and may be revised by BELÁ TESORO from time to time.

YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE

You agree that You will use this Website in accordance with these terms and conditions and that You will not use this Website for any unlawful purpose.

You will not violate or attempt to violate the security of this Website. You will not hack into this Website, BELÁ TESORO computer systems or the computer systems of other users of this Website. Hacking means unauthorised access, malicious damage and/or interference and includes, without limitation, mail bombing, propagating viruses, worms or other types of malicious programs, deliberate attempts to overload a computer system, broadcast attacks or any other method designed to damage or interfere with the operation of a computer system or website.

RETURNS POLICY

Returns by You for change of mind

• If You wish to return or exchange Product because of a change in mind, You may do so in accordance with the following process:
• You must notify BELÁ TESORO within 7 days of accepting delivery of the Product and arrange return of the Product within 7 days after such notification.
• You must notify BELÁ TESORO by email hello@belatesoro.com to obtain a “Return ID number”, or please call BELÁ TESORO directly.
• You must provide a “proof of purchase”, being either an invoice, bank statement, email confirmation from BELÁ TESORO, or delivery note. Product must be returned to BELÁ TESORO head office.
• On International returns You must mark on the courier company’s consignment so that the Products do not attract possible customs duties and taxes again.
• You must return the Product in its original condition with the original “swing ticket” attached.
• You are responsible for arranging any insurance on the Product.
• You are responsible for the cost of the shipment of the Product.
• Upon receipt of the Product by BELÁ TESORO, BELÁ TESORO will refund to You the purchase price for the Product, less any shipping costs.
• Refunds can only be credited back to the credit card that was used to make the original purchase. The refund will be processed as soon as the items have been received by BELÁ TESORO, however, please allow 14 days from the day You return the Product for Your account to be credited.
• Refunds will only be given to Products purchased at the BELÁ TESORO Online Boutique. Refunds will not be given to BELÁ TESORO stock purchased from BELÁ TESORO stockists.
• Exchanges will only be given to Products purchased at the BELÁ TESORO Online Boutique. Exchanges will not be given to BELÁ TESORO stock purchased from BELÁ TESORO stockists.

WARRANTIES

All BELÁ TESORO Products come with a 1 month warranty. You acknowledge that the Products require special maintenance as outlined in our PRODUCT CARE instructions. BELÁ TESORO will not be liable for any damage caused by any failure by You to maintain the Product properly. Please note that the colours of Product may vary slightly from those displayed by Your computer monitor.

Please note that the Trade Practices Act 1974 and similar State and Territory legislation in Australia may confer rights and remedies on you which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified (“Non-excludable Rights”). Notwithstanding any other term in this Agreement, BELÁ TESORO does not exclude any Non-excludable Rights but does exclude all other conditions and warranties, whether implied by custom, law or statute.

RETURNS BY YOU FOR FAULTY OR DAMAGED PRODUCT

If You wish to return a faulty or damaged Product, BELÁ TESORO will gladly repair, exchange or refund the original piece in accordance with the following process:

That the Product was purchased within 6 months of faulty date.

• You must notify BELÁ TESORO by email hello@belatesoro.com to obtain a “Return ID number”, or please call BELÁ TESORO directly.
• You must provide a “proof of purchase”, being either an invoice, bank statement, email confirmation from BELÁ TESORO or delivery note.
• You must return the Product to BELÁ TESORO head office.
• On International returns You must mark on the courier company’s consignment so that the Products do not attract possible customs duties and taxes again.
• BELÁ TESORO will then refund the Price to You in full, replace the Product or exchange for a different Product.
• Refunds can only be credited back to the credit card that was used to make the original purchase. The refund will be processed as soon as the items have been received by BELÁ TESORO, however, please allow up to 14 days from the day You return the Product for Your account to be credited.
• Exchanges are only possible if the item is available. BELÁ TESORO can only exchange faulty items for the same item in the same style, subject to availability. If You wish to exchange, please make Your request clear when requesting Your Return ID number.
• Please note that unfortunately, returns may not be made to a BELÁ TESORO stockist.

If the Product has not been delivered to You prior to any termination of this Agreement by BELÁ TESORO, BELÁ TESORO will refund to You any payment You have made prior to termination.

DEFINITIONS

“Agreement” means the terms and conditions that apply to the use of this Website which may be amended from time to time.

“Product/s” means the product that is specified on the Purchase Order as the product You wish to purchase pursuant to the Agreement.
